Steel City

Steel City

My second chance

A place to start fresh

To wipe my slate clean.

Steel City

Factory chimney’s belching thick, grey smoke

Staining the clear blue sky

Like my mistakes

Stain my past.

Steel City

A patchwork quilt of poverty & wealth,

Suffering & success.

A rich tapestry of culture & individuality

Where unique is celebrated.

Cluster’s of store’s and cafe’s,

Run – down buildings and detailed mansions.

Family neighborhoods,

and crumbling ghettos.

Home to addiction and mental health,

Home to hope and faith in people.

A place for new beginnings,

Steel City.
