Perfectly Imperfect

Well, here I am again:

Wrestling & writhing with my shame,

I am growing and thriving –

Yet it still remains.

How foolish I can be

To think I have left it behind.

I continue to struggle

With my hummingbird brain

& run away mind.

I find the world swells & overwhelms

But we were created to believe

In more than just ourselves.

There is SO many things I try to control

But faith steps in

When I let go.

It’s okay to make mistakes,

Each one is a lesson.

I want to appreciate

This gift of Imperfection.
